I joined a panel to discuss Higher Education experiences in the pandemic Fall semester, and what we are considering for the Spring semester. While there have been many challenges, I am impressed with the resilience of our students and faculty. I think the greatest challenges are maintaining equity and assuring faculty are comfortable with all of the new technology. My friend and colleague Miloš Topić brought up another critical point. The complexity of tools and platforms is killing our student experience. I am now considering what we can do to streamline the student experience and eliminate unnecessary tool creep.
